These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of COMPROMATH at https://www.compromath.com (the “Site”), including articles, pages, comments, and free online tools hosted on the Site or COMPROMATH subdomains.

1. Who we are

COMPROMATH is a technology blog focused on news, tutorials, and practical guides. The Site is operated by Elliyas Ahmed / COMPROMATH from Bangladesh. Product sites under other brands (for example MigraSync at migrasync.com) may have their own terms. Those products are not covered by these Terms unless we say otherwise on that product’s site.

2. Eligibility and acceptable use

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

  • Break any applicable law or third-party right
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape abusively, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or related systems
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute Site software, theme files, or tools except as allowed by law or our written permission
  • Post malware, spam, harassment, or content that is fraudulent or misleading
  • Impersonate COMPROMATH, our team, or other people

We may limit or block access if we reasonably believe these Terms are being violated.

3. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise noted, text, graphics, logos, branding, and original software on the Site are owned by COMPROMATH or our licensors. You may read and share links to public pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not republish full articles, scrape the Site for training datasets or content farms, or use COMPROMATH branding in a way that suggests endorsement, without prior written permission.

Short quotations with clear credit and a link back are usually fine for commentary or review. When in doubt, ask us.

4. Content on the Site

Articles, tutorials, and guides are for general information and education. Technology, hosting, and software change quickly. We work to keep content accurate, but we do not guarantee that every step, screenshot, price, or third-party feature will remain current.

You are responsible for decisions you make based on what you read here, including changes to your own websites, hosting, DNS, plugins, or security settings. Always keep backups before you change production systems.

5. Free tools

COMPROMATH may offer free browser tools (for example generators or helpers on the Site or subdomains). Tools are provided “as is.” Do not submit sensitive secrets, private keys, or personal data you are not comfortable processing in a browser or sending to a tool endpoint. We may modify, limit, or discontinue tools at any time.

6. Comments and user content

If you leave a comment or send feedback, you keep ownership of your words. You grant COMPROMATH a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and moderate that content in connection with the Site.

You confirm that you have the right to submit the content and that it does not violate the law or anyone else’s rights. We may edit or remove comments that are spammy, abusive, off-topic, or otherwise inappropriate. Commenting does not create a confidential or attorney-client relationship.

7. Accounts and admin access

Most readers do not need an account. Login areas are mainly for site administrators and editors. If you have login credentials, you must keep them secure and notify us if you suspect unauthorized use.

8. Affiliates, advertising, and third parties

Some articles include affiliate links. If you buy through those links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Recommendations aim to stay useful; affiliate relationships do not guarantee any specific result for your business.

Where liability cannot be fully excluded under applicable law, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted for a free informational website. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example, liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, where such a limit is not allowed).

You agree to defend and indemnify COMPROMATH and its operators against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site, your user content, or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Site.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Bangladesh have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Site, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country say otherwise.
