About

COMPROMATH technology blog

COMPROMATH is a technology blog focused on news, tutorials, and practical guides.

We write for developers, creators, and curious readers who want straightforward explanations: how software works, what is changing in tech, and how to solve real problems with clear step-by-step articles.

Alongside the blog, COMPROMATH also offers a small set of free online tools for everyday tasks. The blog comes first. The tools support the same mission: make technology easier to understand and use.

Whether you are learning a new workflow, following tech news, or looking up a how-to, COMPROMATH is built around useful reading.

The story behind COMPROMATH

COMPROMATH was founded in 2016 in Bangladesh by Elliyas Ahmed, a Computer Science graduate and solo entrepreneur. He has been deep into computers since high school. That interest led to a CS degree, then to a blog with a name that stuck.

The name is simple on purpose:

  • COM from Computer
  • PRO from Programming
  • MATH from Mathematics

Put together: COMPROMATH. More than a decade later, the site is still independently run, focused on practical tech writing, and updated for readers who want substance over noise.

What we care about

Good tech writing should save you time. That means accurate steps, honest limitations, and titles that match the article. When we recommend a tool, host, or product, we say why. When something is affiliate-supported, we aim to keep the advice useful first.

Elliyas also builds products for creators who work across Blogger and WordPress, including MigraSync for migrations and WordPress backups. Product pages live on their own sites. COMPROMATH remains the editorial home for news, tutorials, and guides.

Privacy, security, and ads

We take privacy seriously. COMPROMATH does not ask you to create an account to read articles. We do not store a profile of your name, address, or phone number just for browsing.

Like most independent publishers, we use analytics and advertising partners (including Google) to understand traffic and keep the site running. Optional cookies follow the choices you make in our cookie banner. Details are in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Ads on COMPROMATH are served through Google. We do not inject shady scripts or misleading download buttons. If something looks wrong or unsafe, tell us and we will investigate.
